What do I expect at Preserve Physical Therapy?

Preserve Physical therapy provides exemplary services that allows patients to move better, feel better, and perform at their highest level. We use the best available scientific evidence to design individualized treatment plans for each patient's unique problems. 

Do I need a referral for therapy?

Texas is a Direct Access state which means patients do not have to obtain a prescription for physical therapy from their physician prior to starting their treatment. However, patients will be required to get a presctiption within one month of starting physical therapy. 

What do I expect for evaluation visit?

We will do a comprehensive exam to diagnose and educate about your problem. It typically takes between 45-60 min. All queries and concerns will be answered to your satisfaction before you start treatment sessions.  

Who will provide therapy?

Do you take any insurances?

Yes, Preserve Physical Therapy is in network with most insurance providers such as Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna, Community Health Choice, Friday Health Insurance, Multiplan etc. We contact insurance prior to starting services so you have an estimate of out of pocket expense (if any) after insurance coverage. 

What do I do if I don't have any insurance?

Preserve Physical Therapy utilizes a hybrid model which allows to provide clinical treatment based on the financial need of each individual.

Self Pay: Patient can pay out of pocket without third party insurance reviews, network restrictions and visit limits. Patients pay for treatment at the time of service using Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or credit card.

Preserve Physical Therapy can easily provide a patient with a visit summary complete with codes and pricing for insurance reimbursement. 

Are there any precautions for COVID pandemic ?

We are up to date with COVID guidelines from the CDC. All the equipment and areas are disinfected between every patient's visit. 

How long is the therapy session for?

Each therapy session is tailored to patient's individual need. Our sessions typically last  between 45-60 minutes based on the condition being treated. 

How should I dress up for my therapy session?

We recommend wearing loose clothes that allow accurate visual assessment of body parts to be treated.
